About the event
Sketching mindfully is a great way of supporting your wellbeing. It teaches you to look, helping you to see so much more and enhancing your enjoyment of the visual world.
In this FREE* series of 6 sketching workshops led by artist Peter Jones, who also has bipolar, we will meet at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh each Friday from 2pm-4pm, starting on Friday 27th October.
The Museum provides a light and airy space packed with treasure just waiting to be drawn! Each session will conclude in the café where we can share our work and chat together over a cup of tea.
A sketching starter pack including colours, brush, pen and sketchbook will be provided to all, and these sessions will be relaxed and supportive, with the focus on enjoying the process of looking and drawing.
*If you have attended last season's workshops, a limited number of tickets are available for you at the discounted rate of £12.50 per session with top-up materials and tea and cake included. Please see the alternate event called "DISCOUNTED rate for RETURNEES" in place of this event.
