About the event
Sketching mindfully is a great way of supporting your wellbeing. It teaches you to look carefully, enhancing your enjoyment of the visual world and helping you to see and enjoy so much more.
In this FREE series of sketching workshops led by artists Peter and Jenni, who also have bipolar, we will meet at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh each Friday from 2-4pm, starting on Friday 24th February.
If it's bright and not too cold those who wish can explore the immediate vicinity of the museum, full of architectural and urban beauty waiting to be sketched. In the event of unfavourable weather we'll all retreat indoors where there is plenty of interest to be sketched inside the museum.
A watercolour starter pack including paintbox, brush, pen and sketchbook will be provided to all, and the sessions will be relaxed and supportive, with the emphasis on enjoying the activity rather than focusing on the outcome.
