Artist Commission Award Ceremony

As part of this year’s Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival (SMHAF), Bipolar Edinburgh awarded a small artist commission. 

Artists were invited to submit a proposal to produce a new piece of work related to the mental health condition bipolar. The commissioned piece of art brings insight to a particular aspect of living with the condition. Artists were also encouraged to consider how SMHAF’s 2023 festival theme of ‘Revolution’ might be reflected in their work.

The commissioned artwork will be unveiled at this event. The artist will be invited to talk about their work and their inspiration. The ceremony will be held from 8-9pm on Thursday, 5 October at The Melting Pot, 15 Calton Road,  Edinburgh EH8 8DL. All welcome!
