About the event

Three Strategies to Create Stable Relationships when You Live with Bipolar

Join bipolar disorder author and researcher Julie A. Fast for an evening of stories and strategies regarding the impact of bipolar disorder on the relationships you care about, including partners, family, friendships and colleagues. Julie will share how she taught herself and the people in her life how to keep a relationship strong and long-lasting even when bipolar is active.

This is not a simple process. Julie will be brutally honest about the toll bipolar takes on her life and how learning to manage her relationships changed her brain for the better. After this presentation, Julie will take audience questions.

We hope you can join us for this lively and important presentation.

The format of this hybrid meeting typically involves a guest speaker or group discussion on topics related to bipolar, then for those attending in person, we chat for a while over a hot drink. Please feel free to stay for a quick chat on Zoom, the meeting finishes by 8.30pm at the very latest.

If you are new to Bipolar Edinburgh and are joining us on Zoom for the first time, please feel free to email us at info@bipolaredinburgh.org.uk to arrange an optional 10-minute welcome and information session where we can answer any questions you might have.

Please watch our short Comfort Agreement, which is in place to ensure that everyone has a safe, comfortable space to share personal experiences.
