About the event
This is a hybrid meeting giving attendees the choice to either join us at our new venue the Edinburgh Training & Conference Venue, 16 St. Mary’s Street, Edinburgh EH1 1SU or online via Zoom. The meeting is for everyone affected by bipolar including carers, family, and friends.
The meeting provides a safe confidential space to access peer support and learn new ways of managing bipolar including sharing our personal experiences. We normally have a guest speaker at the beginning of the meeting talking about a topic relating to bipolar then have a chat over tea and coffee. The meeting finishes at 8:30pm. Please feel free to stay on Zoom for a chat after the speaker finishes!
This month's speakers: Postdoctoral Research Associates Amber Rogusky and Raahat Manrai. Amber will give us an overview of sleep in bipolar disorder and Raahat will provide an update on the progress of the AMBIENT-BD research project.
NB: If you are attending in person for the first time, then please come along early at 18:45 to an Introduction & Welcome which takes place immediately before the meeting.
Please read our Comfort Agreement which is in place to make sure everyone has a safe and comfortable space to share personal experiences.
NB: Please do not attend the venue if you have symptoms of COVID-19.
